Title - Spin-driven evolution of asteroids' top-shapes at fast and slow spins seen from (101955) Bennu and (162173) Ryugu

By - Masatoshi Hirabayashi et al, Aug 2020

Summary - Their oblate shapes with equatorial ridges may have evolved due to their rotational conditions at present and in the past.

Title - Global geologic map of asteroid (101955) Bennu indicates heterogeneous resurfacing in the past 500,000 years

By - Erica Jawin et al, March 2022

Summary - We created a global geologic map of rubble-pile asteroid Bennu. Two geologic units are present: one smooth, one rugged. The Smooth Unit is a > 2 Myr old surface that was shaped in the Main Asteroid Belt. The Rugged Unit was resurfaced via mass movement in the past ~0.5 Myr.

Title - The Formation of Terraces on Asteroid (101955) Bennu

By - O. S. Barnouin et al, Mar 2022

Summary - Laboratory experiments and numerical simulations show that subtle terraces can form in Bennu-like conditions if the slope of the surface increases. Thus, these landforms are evidence for the ongoing “creep” of loose material on Bennu as surface slopes change in response to the gradual acceleration in the asteroid's spin rate.
